Thanks guys. I’m hunting in the Buffalo and Sheridan area. Ridiculous number of deer here. Saw at least 300 tonight including this guy.
Nice. I won't claim to know that area well, but I've spent some time hunting along the Powder River. Cool country for sure!
Been pretty quiet here the last few days. Weather has changed up in my area; 20 degree temp drop today with high of 56 with a northwest wind. I'm planning to get a sit in after work at a spot that I'm pretty excited about.
Hope everyone is having a good season. Still pretty hot in Delaware, with temperatures around or into the 80s. Ended up taking a promotion at work so I've been a little busier lately. Schedule should eventually switch to 4 ten hour days so might get some more hunting in after all.
Weather is really starting to come around! Hopefully going to get out the next couple of days. Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Hey fellas, I’m done. Killed a big doe tonight and will get it and the buck entered tomorrow. The buck I took was a small one and only scored 114” so my total entry will be 164”. I will stay engaged through the season pulling for team 23! Get’em Boys.
Wow JGD! You are on fire sir. Congrats on tonight's doe! You have had a great season! Keep it up and good luck if you are still hunting. As far as the team, you have "killed it". Stay engaged and we will do our best to tag out as well. Take care! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Thanks guys. Yes the doe is from Wyoming. I have two more doe tags and will hunt Oklahoma in addition to a three day special draw hunt in Texas. I was going to try to fill all three doe tags last night but after dragging that big doe across the river I decided to just watch deer. Saw a bobcat and a huge mule deer. Prett cool sit. Yesterday morning I had a doe and two fawns at 7 yards. I was sitting on the ground and videotaped them and let them walk. There are tons of deer so I usually let the does with fawns go. I should have waited on a bigger buck...couldn’t help myself.
Congrats J! Awesome year so far! Keep it up! Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Did a quick scouting trip behind the house yesterday in a swampy area. I came across a deer in some really thick stuff. I thought it’s horns were stuck in the brush. It was standing not moving.so I went over to it close enough I could touch it if I wanted cleared rather brush away from the horns( small 4pt). Noticed on looking closer deer was sick or something eyes were closed hair was missing off the top and side of face. Then the wind changed he was smelling bad already. I had nothing with me to put him out of his misery. The coyotes will have him by today or tomorrow. I did find a decent spot for a stand back where the deer was but probably have to give it a week or 2 before I set up believing the coyotes will be in there heavy for a while.
