Had one doe come by Sunday night at about 10 yards. Let her pass, its just too hot to be dealing with anything but bucks right now. Gonna be in the 90s again today in Delaware. Gonna try again this afternoon.

Nice sit yesterday afternoon. 6 does and 2 fawns, all within 30 yards. Still no sign of my shooter buck. Gonna head out after work this afternoon. Softball in Virginia Beach all weekend so this will be my last chance to hunt until next week.

Well picked up the bowtech from the archery shop with the new limbs. It’s funny on replacement limbs they are just straight black. No decals or anything saying bowtech or the model. The guy who owns the shop said he has never had to replace replacement limbs so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. He had 2 other bowtech come in this week. A year or two older models with same issues. I still had to eat the $50 repair charge because I didn’t take it back to where I bought it( 3 hours away). I’ll be shooting like crazy the next couple weeks trying to knock the rust off.

With the price of gas the $50 was probably a better deal......

Hey! Welcome to the squad. What part of Kentucky are you at? I am from Kentucky as well. I hunt in Hart Co. Did you go out hunting last week? I did but man...it was hot and unproductive.

Thanks guys! I hunt in Muhlenberg County. I didn’t get a chance to make it out last weekend. I’m ready for it to cool down.

Nice! That is a known hot spot for great deer in KY. Good luck this year! Yes, ready for some cooler temps as well. I am now back in Arkansas, where I am stationed and will be hunting here until mid November when I head back to KY for a couple weeks.

October 1st for me did get another stand put up this afternoon with my son. Supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of rain the next 2 days that should wash any scent away.
