Unbelievable!! Trying to get my son on a shooter Buck! This morn we had a about a 125 eight point but he was 40 from me and about 80 from him chasing a Doe. This evening the Buck I underestimated the other day came in on me at 20 yards and 35 for him but quartering to him so no shot! I now know whu I underestimated him. His body is freakin enourmous and takes away from his High tight rack.

Good luck boys.. I am anxiously awaiting the weekend. I have 2 and 1/2 days to get one before gun season starts up the following weekend. It's doubtful I will get to do much late season hunting, if any, but things are getting good and I am hoping I can wrap my hands around some antler by Monday.

Had a 6 right under my stand and didn't know it. I was watching over my left shoulder when at 6:45 am I turned to my right and thought I had dropped something and looked down thru the stand to see what it was but kept hearing it. The 6 bolted from under my stand, that was the sound I heard thinking I had dropped something. He snuck in right under me from the right. Anyway he went 15 yards and stopped and the stare down started. He eventually moved out but I was able to grunt him back 2 different times, dumb youngster he was. I played with him for half an hour as I didn't want him, lot of fun. Anyway, back at it again this morning, leaving in a few minutes.

Not me, are you kidding me. Nothing again tonight. This is getting down old after almost 2 months of hunting and being able to count on one hand the number of deer seen. Why couldn't I live in the Midwest. Lol

That's Hoppes #9 air freshener Rock.

It's a crazy time of year in the States. If a person cleans all the gun powder smell from the air, he stands a good chance of killing a pig like that with a bow.

Very nice deer Opel! I would love to see the photos of your hunting room when it's done!

Here is the story, I have a little piece of property that my aunt rents a house from me on and yesterday I was talking to her and she said she has been seeing a giant buck for the past few days, so I go out yesterday at 1pm and set up a climbing stand and go get in it at 3pm after work, at 5pm here he comes out of a patch of timber not 20 yards away and walks to a scrape 10 yards from me, Whack and he was hit good, lots of blood, so I got out and waited till this morning and me and a couple of friends went out to trail him, we found blood, good blood. This property is small and the neighbors are tree huggers on one side and a doctor on the other, we trailed it to the docs property, I call him and he says go after it, moments later one of my friends hollers over here, I run over and there lies a Gut Pile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night at 12 midnight our coon season opened, it was in the middle of a 25 acre cut hay field, either with the full moon they saw it or there dogs did and then they did, I called the doc and explained and he says he has alot of problem with coon hunter trespassing on him, we followed the drag marks to a set of 4 wheeler tracks and then to the hard road.. I went from an incredible high to a all new low, Why one hunter would do this to another is beyond me!!!!!I feel like ****, should of looked last night, I knew it was a good hit, I can second guess myself forever but the result is the same, a 180 class deer is in someone elses house right now, a DEER STEALERS house!!!!!!

Holy crap?!!! I can't even believe that... WOW! Something else would have got it here but you count on bears to try stealing them, it's almost part of the game. To have to worry about losing your deer to another human though... that's low.
