Hey Opel, are you having it done orthoscopic? I had a hole the size of a 50 cent piece in mine and they did it all orthoscopically and it worked fine

Well I almost got a 120" 10 pointer tonight. Had him at 35 yards but wouldnt give me a good shot. He was within 50 yards for 15 minutes. He wouldnt come to anything. At last light I saw an absolute pig run into the field about 200 yards away. He looked like he would score close to 170". He looked like a freaking cow!!! Both bucks were chasing does. I saw around 10 deer tonight. Probably the most exciting hunt I have ever done! Ill be in the same tree tomorrow night! Oh and it was the first time I have ever hunted this farm lol. The big boy is the biggest I have ever seen on the hoof. He had to have been pushing 250 pounds. Hopefully Ill get a good luck at him tomorrow. I started shaking with him so far away. I couldnt imagine if he was at 20 yards haha.

Shot a button buck this morning! Missed on a bigger doe just moments before shooting this one. I had 5 does and him come in and he came to 8 yards. I missed the first on at 40. Nocked the second arrow and drill him. He ran 30 yards and piled up in a dry creek bed. My buddy and I both shot deer this morning within 10 minutes of each other. Hunting 2011 003.jpg

First off Crick congrats!!!! Awesome buck!!!!!

Well we had a great fundraiser at the D.O.G House, made enough money to run the youth center for another year!!!!!

Have you ever had one of those hunts were afterwords you ask yourself what the HE_L did I just do, well I had one this weekend, I passed on 2 bucks that I thought were marginal but then I go and pull my camera and have photos of both and thought WHAT THE HE_L DID I JUST DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well no crying over spilt milk or passed deer, they will get another year to grow!!!!!

Thanks Opel. Yes I have, just the other day as a matter of fact! I had a shot at a very Tall 8 that I thought was only about 120,,Then he got closer and I noticed now is was about 130 but looked smaller cause of his enormous body and narrow tall rack. When I tried to shoot the Doe busted me that I didnt know was directly under me! Hang in there, you will slam one soon, I just know it! Best of luck Team, this is the week to out there!
ps: im gonna text krohboy and see if he will let me post his Doe in the score card for him!
