Im pumped, kits almost here and it is still cool in the mornings I went in to opening day set yesterday after work to freshin up a Mock scrape. There was a new rub 10 yards from my tree about the size of my wrist!

But I have this 200"- 10 pointer tied out behind the house and I need season to get here before he figures out how to untie the rope!!!!!!
Well thats an easy fix just put him in the garage till season opens then open the door. This way no one will see him. Just hope you don't have a John Deer lawnmower they may fight. Smart A$$

Hey Opel, Don't let all that 'splainin' creep into your mind as you're drawing down on him. Just anchor, pull though the shot and know that I'm there to get your back on that one. "He shot that deer fair and square! He had no idea that I had him tied up next door for two weeks. And how's it his fault that someone dumped a truck load of C'Mere Deer in his backyard the night before the opener?!"

Well all kidding aside, I will be in a tree in 22 hours and will hope for a big buck, there is one or two roaming my woods, but I will be happy with a Doe for some fresh meat and 50 points for the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck in the morn guys! Just so you know my intentions, Ill be looking for 130" or better and the Does get a free pass this weekend. Ill likely take my Doe or 2 later in October when im on vacation and have more time to mess with them since I do my own Butchering! Its supposed to be in the high 40's in the morn here
Good luck guys!! It looks like rain here for tomorrow but I may get out tomorrow evening for an over night bivy in the mountains to make sure I'm on top at first light. I just hope the creek has come down enough that I can get the LandCruiser across it to get into my prime spot.
