I like the top avatar but to be honest whatever you all choose is fine and dandy with me!

I'll be pulling two camera's today in the U.P. If there is anything worth sharing I'll let you all know.

That's a nice bear Tom -we have a ton of great area's up here to bear hunt, the problem I have with them is they crush my small clover food plots! Bastards :)

This is a common occurrence in my neck of the woods.. Never get sick and tired of seeing one.

I just fell in love with Led Zeppelin all over again. Stairway to Heaven would be a very appropriate song to listen to if he hits the ground.

Tom you have a chance at some real monsters. Good luck putting one down.

Hopefully I have some halfway decent pics to post after my cam check this coming weekend.

Hey fellas, sorry I've been AWOL for a few days. My 17 year old son and I spent the weekend checking ratchet straps on stands, trimming shooting lanes, and hung a few more stands. Lots of briars, ticks, mosquitos and gnats, but we are finally ready to hunt. Spent the evenings with my gf shooting our bows. Great weekend, too bad I had to come back to work to get some rest. ;)

Well this season might not a s good as I had hoped. Just check 5 cams we had out for 3 weeks. Lots of does. But the biggest bucks we got pics of were a couple 6 pointers and some 4 pointers. We were a bit disappointed that was all we got pics of after 3 weeks. Past years we've got some nice 8 and 10's. Guess this will be a rebuild year. The HED(?) must have done more damage then we knew. Hope to take a doe or 2 anyway. Need some meat in the freezer.

I wouldn't read to much into it. It is nice to have some picks for confidence, but I would rather have buck picks in October and November. If you have the does and they stay, you wil be golden in November.

I shot a doe and a little 8 point last year. I'm hoping that I will be killing at least another doe, and a buck of at least 100 inches.
The season starts the 5th of Oct. However thats my wedding annv. So I will be not hunting the first day. I will be out the next day (monday 7th)
    Good luck everyone

Great reports guys! I'm going to appologize in advance for my few posts because I work alot of hours and never find time to read up on the forums. But I have permission to hunt a few fields that produce some decent deer every year. My season comes in the 7th, but I probably won't be hunting til the first frost sometime in october! Good luck everyone!

How many of you can/do harvest a doe every year?

    Count me as 1.

I can take a doe. I'm hoping to get one on the ground early.
