I'm back at it today with the shotgun. Haven't seen a thing yet.

 

Doesn't count towards team 23, but I am super excited. 10 pointer during shotgun in Indiana.

Shot him during shotgun season in Indiana. I still have my Ohio tag to fill and I am back from my trip and still putting in bow time here in Ohio.

 

No, I've been away for gun season. I'll be home tomorrow and try to get it scored in the next couple of days.

Put a tape to my buck this evening. 112 4/8.

My wife, son and I all shotgun hunted this weekend. We saw a grand total of zero deer from the stand. My son saw a doe in a field Friday morning when he had to run to get some gas. My wife saw 2 today when I drove a small patch of timber. I didn't see a damn thing all weekend. I didn't hear anyone shoot within 1/2 mile all weekend. It was the most miserable weekend (deer wise) of shotgun season I've ever seen. We did make the most of it, and had a good time. But the hunting sucked lol.

 

The time change is finally starting to kill my hunting time. I can't sneak out after work even for a short hunt right now unless I find a way to get off early. I am hoping to get a good hunt in Thanksgiving morning and than try to hit it hard this weekend.

 

When will the scores be updated again? I waiting to see where we are now. Mine hasn't been added that I shot bacl on nov 14th. Granted I had to update some stuff since then. Just want to be sure we get credit for it,,lol

Hey guys, seems the thread is starting to slow down. That time of year I guess... Busy, busy, busy.
Looking at the scorecard it's evident that we are very much still in this thing! Some of the best hunting of the year is still to be had, good luck guys!

 

Hahaha Things have definitely slowed down. I will be hunting as long as I can get out.

 

I am headed to Buffalo County WI this weekend for a muzzleloader hunt. The lows will be about -10 and I am going to be sitting on one of our food plots and standing beans. The big boys hopefully will get on their feet early and food on the feed bag good luck to everyone that is still headed out.

Just checked the updated board and we are currently in 3rd, but 245 away from first place. I couple of more deer would really help!! I'll be trying to do my part.
