Who will be out this weekend? I'll be making the 5hr drive to my property after work to hunt all day Saturday and Sunday. I'm excited to see what's on my cams. I haven't checked them in a month.

I hunted this morning. Perfect morning, but nothing moving by 7:30 when I had to leave for work

 

I am planning on being out for all 5 possible hunts from tonight through Sunday nights hunt. Hoping to see something moving while in the treestand. I am excited for morning hunts around home. It has been awhile since I've been able to hunt a good treestand around home in the morning.

 

Had buck at first light and could not tell which one he was. Did not shoot. Saw 2 other does. Dad passed that big 3 year old had him at 20. (pic attached)

I leave for WI tonight after work.. I'll be putting in full days on stand Saturday and Sunday!!

 

Good luck! My back won't allow for all day sits. I have to get down after three or four hrs and stretch the legs.

 

I'm taking the weekend off and going to try and shoot some ducks. Put up a new stand today that has lots of promise. Will be in it Monday or Tuesday morning depending on the wind. Warm here the next couple of days and a hi of 38 tuesday...should be good.

Great morning so far.. 8 bucks (no shooters) and 6 doe! My covert special ops just sent me a picture a little bit ago of a nice 3 year old, i hope to get a better look at him!!

 

Great morning also, CJ and I were out. At 645 am we had a nice 8 pt come to 15 yards. Bigger than the one I shot, nice clean 8 pt. I could see both sides. Out past both ears. Nothing else, CJ became cold and wanted to go home we left at 1020. We are not able to make it back out. Date night with the wife.

Neither of us has a buck tag.

 

Date night went well. Comedy night for the girls softball team. Fund raiser. Then we went out after and had a few drinks, well the wife did, I was DD.

 

Off this whole week and will be in the woods the whole time. Looking forward to this week.
