We also need to vote on a captain and a team name before Fitz does it for us...and it wont be pretty if he does :)

Bobcat031 checking in! This is my 2nd year in the contest. I'm from Michigan and our season starts Oct 1st. Not sure when I will get out. I try to hunt 3 days a week until late Oct/ early Nov then I try to take a couple LONG weekends if the rut is coming on. Not sure what to expect this season with the deer die off last season. I have 5 deer cams out and been trying to stay out of the woods. But it's killing me to check and see if we have any buck this year. We can buy up to 5 doe permits a day this year in our area. So If nothing else I hope to put a couple does in my freezer. Bobcat031 needs his venison!! I nominate Monster RAXX as captian of the team.

Monster RAXX you look to have some awsome bucks to choose from.

I sent private messages to our teammates that haven't signed in yet. Nice to see most already signed up already. There are a few very good teams so this will be a lot of fun.

Team 13, 14 and 26 are pretty solid. Team 10 scored A LOT of points last year. I don't think they killed a bunch of big bucks but they killed a lot of does.

Some of the teams have proven big buck killers, but its still hunting. Anything can happen. There will be some virtually unknown hunters that drop some big ones, and some proven guys (and gals) will get skunked. Shoot what you want, get a doe and let the chips fall.

With that said, I like our chances. :D

Here is a buck on my lease I have been getting pics of since he was 2 1/2. I haven't got any pics yet but he doesn't usually show up on where I put the cameras till late summer so I am still waiting. He will be 7 1/2 this year. I passed him when he was 3 1/2 and we figured he was just over 150"

Here is his shed from January it scores exactly 98"

Almost seems like his left eye is messed up.

He is blind in his left eye. It happened sometime after he was 4 1/2.

Any ideas for a team name? I would prefer to name ourselves then someone else do it.

    Some ideas from me...

    Whitetail Warriors
Bambi Killers (cuz I have a sick sense of humor)
    Deer Dirt Nap
