After seeing the other pic from the side angle I think my first guess is low :)

Not yet. Will post Friday or Saturday. It will go north of 150 pretty easy I think though.

I think so too. It looks like it might go 160. Heck of a buck, congrats!

Ohhhhh and Team 23.... this puts even more pressure on everyone to put down a doe because when Tom shoots his buck ;) that mean's we can coast to a win with a good number of doe kills!!! Haha, just saying. :)

I'm hoping to add 50 points this weekend. I'll be hunting a friends farm in LaSalle county and its loaded with does.

This was exactly my guess when I first looked at pictures. When I saw a different angle I think my guess is low :)

Guys I am pretty excited about a hunt coming up Saturday morning. Last month a friend and myself scouted out some really secluded public ground that is only accessible by boat. We saw the best deer sign I've seen in my 28 years deer hunting. He found an old rub on a tree that was close to the size of a telephone pole. Even better, we didn't see any trail markers, stands, climber marks on trees or general trash that you usually see when hunting public land. We've been watching the weather, waiting for the right time. Saturday looks to be the day. We've both agreed not to shoot anything below wall hanger level, because getting the deer out isn't going to be an easy task. 2 guys, bows, gear, climbers, in his boat. We don't want to mess with hauling out a couple of does :) . I'm pretty pumped for this hunt. Hope it lives up to all the expectations we have on this area.

Good luck. My dad use to do this where we deer hunt in Indiana. The area was a very very long walk from the parking lot, but dropping people off of the boat was a short walk up the hill to prime spots with little to no hunting pressure! (4 wheeler access ruined that spot though) Hope you see enough to at least make it worth your time and get you excited to go back. Maybe even put a wall mounter on the ground!
