    good news, my wife shot a nice doe last night! bad news, shes on another team! lol, ill be out the next 4 days and there are still a lot of deer in the area. ill post some pics when I check the camera tomorrow. good luck all!

    O plan on heading out tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. Hopefully it doesn't rain. They are predicting 30 to 40% Friday and Saturday. Not sure what to expect. Haven't been out to check the cams in about 3 weeks! Maybe a nice surprise?

    Time to bump this thing to the top. :)

    I hunted last night and only saw my new neighbors dog. City guy moves to the country and lets his mutt run all over Gods green earth. I'm taking advantage of the hot weather tonight by paying a visit to the dogs owner. The dog crapping in my yard, barking at my kids and growling at my dog didn't sit well with me. His dog circling my deer stands at prime time really didn't sit well with me......

    At times like this a friends arrow that doesn't look anything like the others in my quiver usually finds it way into my quiver. I haven't ever actually had to do it, but I think I would have to eventually.

    In my younger days maybe, but I'm getting softer as I age. Not saying the dog won't get a one way ticket to the shelter if things don't change though.

    Good luck with that situation. I definitely agree with Jacob (PackersFan) but you may want to check with local animal control because they may be able to assist and further turn the heat up under your neighbor's a$$.

    Well, the neighbors and I don't see eye to eye on the dog. He said the dog has the right to go where he wants.....and asked me to leave. I'm not going to argue about it with him. Not what I hoped for but the situation will get resolved one way or another.

    Well the first day and a half of my season have been a bust so far. I was in stand yesterday morning and afternoon then again this morning. So far I have seen 7 does either walking to or from my stands but nothing while actually in the stand.

    I'd tell him I have the right to shoot anything that trespasses onto my property... that includes dogs!

    That sucks that he dealt with it that way. How does he think his dog can just go where it wants. Good luck fixing the issue, what is your states laws about dogs chasing deer?
