Definitely use mock scrapes during the pre-rut and on through to 1st of December. They do get a good bit of activity during the rut. I love using drip bottles. Watched many small bucks stick their nose right in the scrape and get worked up. I would definitely check the thread that Shed put up. Has some great tips.

My hunting buddy and I use 'Buck Fever Synthetics' from August til November with good results; in fact, the year we didnt use it religiously (last year) we had the least amount of scrapes show up.. More than often we have camera's on these mock scrapes and it is always confirmed that deer do hit it.

I totally had tree withdrawals this past week!... It doesnt help when my Covert 'Special Ops' camera sends me a picture every 5 minutes telling me the deer are everywhere!
I look forward to being in WI this weekend hope to break the seal and get some points on the board for the team; than it's go time October 1st in Michigan!

My oldest got a medal the other day too. She has been running since 6th grade and the youngest started this year in 6th grade. We enjoy the sport too.

I think I figured out is has 11 points minimum. G2 is forked on left side. I am guessing maybe high 130's minimum, but it is a tough pic. The shooters are not where they are suppose to be this year. I try to save what I think is better for the end of October, but the shooters are at the other places, huh? Has me back pedaling a little. Will probably stick to the plan, but visit these other places during the rut when I didnt use to.
