Goal is a doe. I don't have any evidence that a shooter buck is traveling through the property right now but I don't have cameras out this time of year except on the food plots. The neighbor shares his trailcam pictures with me and there are at least 5 shooters living there. Guess we will see what happens but unless I get lucky I don't expect a shooter this early in the season unless he gets bumped. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
I agree with you about the mornings... I might do the old sleep-in and breakfast with the family and save my time away from my new baby boy (and wife too) for the afternoon hunt! Getting close now!
Best I've got on my camera so far. Hopefully that changes. 2.5 year old? Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
I think that you are right - definitely a two year old. The big boys are there; probably just camera shy! I definitely had one of my slowest years for pictures, hopefully that will change soon! And pictures are great but kills are better! BowhuntOrDie!
Loaded and ready to roll tomorrow, can't wait to get in the woods! Good luck boys, let's put some points on the board!
Had a doe and two fawns hang out by me fir about 20 min. They caught me off guard and snuck up on me. I never had them closer than 30 yards and there always seemed to be something in the way. Ill try again tonight in a different spot Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Well, I had my first live encounter with Picket Fences this morning at 30 yards. Unfortunately he was in a thicket behind me and didn't offer a shot. The real excitement was 5 minutes later though when a 150+ ten pointer walked the same trail. He is a new buck that I don't know. I moved my set a little to help cover that thick spot so I won't get burned again. Thank god for scentblocker gear though, both were straight downwind and had no clue I was there. Hunting a different property tonight. So far it has been an awesome opener!
