Well so far I have taken 7 Does, 1 Button ( Thought it was a doe fawn ) and 2 bucks this season, but I am still doe bowhuntiing ( I have a list of people that want deer from me ) The does do seem to be a little bit more scarce right now. I did finally have 5 does and fawns come in yesterday morning but they were out of range... And one coyote at 28 yards .. which are off limits on this property RGGGGGGHHHHH, OF COURSE :(

Lady you are a killing machine! I'm not sure I have 7 does total between both properties this year. I am done hunting for the year, between work and the kids it seems like I've always got something going. Last weekend I got one last hunt in and put out some corn and cameras afterwards to see what we have left on the farm. Hopefully we'll have something interesting on camera to get me excited about next year.

Good luck to everyone still hunting, be safe.

Wow seven does in a season is pretty remarkable. I haven't hardly got the time to hunt so needless to say I haven't filled my doe tag yet, but next week I go on break from school for a couple of weeks and I'm taking a trip to southern alabama where I used to live, so my hopes are high for getting those 50 points. We are fairly close to the lead if everyone can tag a doe and half decent buck they couldn't top us.

    Good Luck in Alabama ;)

Im still having a great time bowhunting here. The does are beginning to group up and moving a bit more now, sure is easier to spot them when they move in groups ;)
I am now at 8 doe's, 1 button and 2 bucks for this season, I got another big doe a few days ago & I got it on film with the new HD video camera ... with footage of a couple of big bucks thrown in also, here is a link to the video on youtube.

Good video Lady, what camera are you using?

That was a nice buck, how close was he? It is always hard for me to tell on video.

I filmed it all with a Panasonic HC-V500M HD, I believe they usually retail around $550.00 but we found an open box one so they sold it to us for $350.00.

That 1st buck on the video on the wind warm day was prob about fifty yards just a rough guess ?
Told my hubby we need to go back to that store and open some more camera boxes so I can get another camera cheap ;) But alas they keep them locked up :(

Well everyone it looks like this thing is wrapping up and we are well out of the running this time. This season was an interesting one for me to say the least but all and all a good one. It was good to get to know everyone, good luck out there if you are still hunting and if not have a great off season and good luck next year.
