Unfortunately Fran, Rob was not feeling good that morning and elected out of the hunt. The only consolation was that he would have had a hard time getting the footage from where he would have been sitting. I'm really itchy for a doe now. It shouldn't be to awful long and we'll have another 50 to put up.
Saw a roadkill bunny this morning, almost stopped to take a picture just for you fine folks! You guys got bragging rights over us though, for now......

UP Rob - I always forget about the "2 pictures for the contest" rule. Last year, I pleaded ignorance and they let me slide. LOL Do you have any doe tags? We're going to need to pound some does to win this thing. Rob - I'm with Ben. I'd say 2.5 years old. His tine was likely either broken in a tussle with another buck, or it was weak and he just broke it off while rubbing. The third time might be a charm for him! Good luck! We need some points, boys. Who has their eye on an archery doe for the freezer? We already have enough buck points to contend. If everybody tags one doe, that'll tack another 450 onto our score. I have unlimited doe tags here and will be slammin some soon. But I will be buck hunting mostly over the next few weeks. Does dont get a pass unless there is a target on their trail. We will get some more points trust me, my vacation starts in 1 hour!

Awesome fls. Good work. Who else? Side bar. Filmed a great buck last night. Tag filled I still tried to call him to bow range to see if it would have resulted in a score. He was on a mission. A decoy may have helped.
Congrats fls!! I haven't been out since I shot my doe last weekend. I've got a couple of days off in the next two weeks and I'm gonna try all day sits. There is a 130ish 8'point in my hunting area that my buddy passed up this morning. I'm hoping to get a chance to put a tag on him.
Allright guys. I'd say that we're beyond the halfway point in the contest, and I think we're definitely within striking distance. We need to buckle down and lay the wood to some bucks here in the next two weeks. I like our odds. Rob, jj - I think you guys are both going to knock one down for us. Ben, UP and Myself are all good for a doe. That's 150" more. That will put us in serious contention. We have a lot of guys who aren't posting much, (ahem . . . Sorry Guys I'm still here I have been really busy with work and school right now still make it out to the woods though. I shot a doe a couple of weeks ago and never found her searched a good day and a half for her and just lost blood and no deer. we made a lot of loops around the blood with no deer I have no clue what happened. This coming weekend November 4,5,6th I have off of work and I will be out there every day trying to put a buck on the ground I will let you guys know how this weekend plays out. Once again sorry about not being here really at all..
