Right on, Ben. The key to victory in this contest is maximum scoring, while working hard to ensure that the competition eats their tags. First off, we're going to need everyone on this team to shoot at least one deer. That goes unsaid. Secondly, we're going to have to start finding other members' (non-team 22 contestants) and make sure that they don't kill anything. We're looking for guerilla tactics: flatten their tires, cut their bow strings, pee on their hunting suits, cut down their treestands, give lots of bad advice in the forums, move their bowsights, send them hunting with Siman, etc. Victory is paramount. By the way, my name's Fran, and I'm a huntaholic. I'm from Pennsylvania, and I enjoy long walks in the woods.
Right on boys! have no problem filling tags here! We start on the 10th gota earm my buck tag, which should happen opening weekend. Good luck and let the air outa some deer!
Next saturday Ben, not this sat but next the 10th. I will be filming my son before I start hunting though his first year with a bow. Hes been watchin this guy all summer, so this is my priority to get him on this 2 year old in velvet. I got his first archery turkey this spring, a snakehead this summer and I hope a velvet buck this fall on film. I have a hit list thats looking real good this year bud! I also have a chance to finish the story of a few bucks I have years of sheds and history with. Good luck to everyone. Ill pm ya a velvet clip I put together soon.
Already motivating the troups is see Fran. Like they say it's not over until the Good luck to you all but watch out for team 17 we can sneek up on everyone. Fran are you going to try and name your team The fuzzy bunnies again.lol
Dan brings up an excellent point: "The Fuzzy Wuzzy Bunnies" would be an excellent team name. Imagine the sheer humiliation of losing to the "Bunnies..." I will admit that this proposal gets shot down every year by my teammates, but I think THIS IS THE YEAR that the Bunnies rise! Great bucks, UP. I know you're always good for letting the air out of a good one. Rob - I think you'll be our first guy in the woods. No pressure, but we need you to bust one early and get this party started! I remember you popped a real nice buck last year, so here's to a repeat performance! As far as bucks go, these are the guys that I have on the radar at the moment: It's funny, the buck in the last pic looks almost exactly like the giant 5x5 in the two preceding pics, but they're totally different deer, living about a mile away. That last buck is 3.5, and he needs one more year. I'll have a hard time laying off him, tho.
Reporting For Duty!!!!! Bow tuned and sighted, alfalfa is planted, mock scrape made, and can't wait for October 1.
Nice bucks Quick, Those pics arent my deer, thats my 14 yr olds buck. Thats a 2 yr old and gets a pass from me I just sent Ben a link to some of my bucks. Nice crop there bud.
Hey guys, hoytuser checking in for duty!! I will be hunting in Southeastern Mn. Our season starts September 17th, and I am ready.
Bunnies kicking ass and dropping bucks. I'm in. I'm hoping to score opening day on a buck before my property gets trampled.
