Last night was excellent. I hunted over really grren beans. I lost count of how many does were in the field with about 15 min of shooting light left. I also saw two bucks but nothing outstanding. Oh and 8 turkeys.... Were are all these turkeys during spring turkey season???

Last night was more or less a bust for me. I think it was my faul. The wind switched direction early evening. I am sure I should have moved.

Last hunt was excellent. Just no bucks. I moved 200 yards from where I sit last hunt. I am in the stand right now. Cool and overcast again. Should be a good night!

Well I guess for me it's time to move deeper into the timber. I have been hunting over beans that were planted really late. They haven't even started to turn yet. It's been hit and miss over the last week. I am not seeing the bucks I was seeing prior to season. Looks like they are munch'en on acorns. I've passed on one shooter buck that would have been in the mid 150s. Hope I don't regret it later.....

First good cool front is going to roll through over the next couple days. lower 40's for the low and low 60's for the highs. I am going to hump it deep into the woods early tomorrow afternoon. I'll hunt the evening and then hit it again first thing Friday morning. I am trying to keep myself in the game as I have been second guessing every thing as of late. When I thought I would see lots of deer I have seen almsot nothing...

went out on the 1st... saw nothing! my wife had the 2nd off and she passed a 2yr old buck, 15 yds broadside. i will be hunting that farm saturday and sunday hopefully get a doe and mabey a shot at a few bucks that has been hanging around. ive noticed a rise in nighttime movement, the full moon might have had a hand in that. might have to find the acorns also! good luck yall.
