I haven't been on this past week to much. I'll introduce myself as well. My name is Brad I'm 37 and I have two boys ages 3 and 6. I live in Wisconsin and I work at a Utlities Company doing water systems maitnaince, plumbing, and wastewater treatment. LIke McAuther I Joined the ARMY and left for For Knox in January of 2002. I had one tour in the sand box in 2004-2005. I did 8 years in the Reserves and didn't re-enlist as I wanted to start a family. I should be checking my cameras soon and I'll hopefully have some nice bucks to chase. I do hunt mostly public becasue of convience as I've moved futher away from the family farm.
Good grief! I am finally done traveling! I got back yesterday evening and had time to get out for the velvet hunt, but I wanted to spend time with my son, so no deer activity. Prior to leaving, I cleared out my final shooting lanes and had to check cameras again. Not many pictures, but I still have 3 very good deer roaming the property. I can't believe how unprepared I actually am; clean/prep clothes, prep other stuff, remember how to shoot a bow, and remember everything else I'm forgetting. I say I'm going to get a good deer every year, but I truly believe this is going to my year.
Tried to put a lick branch in the middle of my clover plot yesterday. We shall see how it works out hope I leads to some good pics and maybe a good shot on a buck. The tobacco barns are burning, but the cool mornings are yet to be seen, its almost time fellas. Unless you're in Kentucky, then you open tomorrow. I rolled through a tobacco barn smoke screen this morning with my windows down, it was amazing.

Gentlemen, I have some bad news. I was shooting my bow today like I normally do. I put fifteen shots through it. Then I come to full draw, hold for a second, and one limb blew up. Yes yes yes I know I shoot a bowtech. I have honestly put thousands of arrows through that bow in the past five years and have never had a single issue.
