Way to go guys! Hopefully that’s the start of good things to come. This is my last week of work before my vacation and I plant to hunt a lot. We are also closing on our house and moving next week to so that will give me a break in the middle of it for an unknown amount of time but it should be be too bad we got a lot of packing and moving stuff around this weekend to prepare. I've been slacking on the computer time. Now my sons Football is over and I can get more hunting time. I have a really nice buck coming in during daylight on my family farm. I hit some public tonight and got skunked, I'll be out on public agian tomorrow evening. I also have two half days at work next week. Goodluck everyone!

I'll be hunting hard the next two days. I located some nice deer on public over the weekend. Here are some of the pictures of some public deer. I'll hunt family farm tomorrow and public Weds. I'll keep you posted.
Checking in, I'll be in the stand from friday evening to sunday. If I could figure out how to sleep in my stand I would. Muzzle loader season comes in this weekend, maybe that will push deer to me. Looking at my history, this is usually a kill weekend. Going to hunt a spot I havent been in yet but found big rubs last year. Quick scout and I'll setup for the weekend.
Well I saw 6 doe tonight and the pictured buck at around 90 yards. He was limping, I'm not sure what is up with that. Anyways, I'm moving in to where he came out of the CRP tomorrow, hoping he does the same thing again.

Update from me: had a interesting Monday. Saw a shooter both in the evening and in the morning between 80-100 yards. Planned on sitting all day but neighbor decided to chop wood that morning/afternoon. Got down and went to get brunch and gameplan for a evening sit. Got to my evening stand and about 30 seconds after I hung my bow the hook broke and it fell 15’ bouncing off the stand twice on the way down. Wasted two broadheads shooting a log to find it was hitting 3-4 inches low at 20 yards. Decided to stick it out and keep shots 20 and under. Saw 9 deer and a big wide 9 pointer. Since then I have closed on my house and I’m all moved in. Headed back to private land for a afternoon sit and 2 all day sits following that to close out vacation.
