    I haven't been out for awhile. The private land spot I have has had no deer on it for a few weeks so looks like public land for me from here on out.

    Good luck. Here were in the late season period. Most of the does have been bred. So I watch the does that are still with babies. They will breed last. As soon as the bucks run out of does to breed they will come back to those young moms with babies and run the babies off so mom will cycle. So watch for the young forkies to start following those moms around and the big boys will be close. You probably already know all this but if not I hope it helps. Good luck.

    Yeah that helps, I haven't had any luck on public ground yet. We are pretty much in late season as well. Lookin for a doe but wouldn't pass on a buck lol. Gotta get my wife out as well she's itching to get one.

    I have been playing cat and mouse with a good buck that is living on my farm since rifle season. I just can't seem to be in the right place at the right time. I haven't seen him for a week now, I'm afraid one of the neighbors may have taken him with a muzzle loader. This weekend is the last chance I will have to hunt so it is now or never.

    happy new year guys. 12 more days till I go to the land of the Giants for spot and stalk mule deer hunting. I can't wait.

    I've got 10 more days to get another one, hopefully I can get me a doe. How's everyone else doing it's been pretty quite?

    Hey team congrats to everyone that has been able to nock a deer down. I was able to get out before my season ended. Had a few in close but never could get a shot off. Sorry for slacking.

    Well' Im back from Az. I didn't get my buck. I missed a nice 4x4 at 70yrd. he was moving straight away from me and I missed just left. My buddies I was with all got nice bucks. If you want to see them Ill post them up in the southwest section of the forum. I have one more week left maybe I can get back to Az next weekend for one more try. I had fun with this contest, hope you all did too. I hope you all have great 2015.

    Well congrats to everyone who was successful this year and good luck next season to anyone who was not. First time being in the contests and it was a blast, it was nice to meet all of you and can't wait till next season!!
