I'm here....sorry have been an awful teammate this year...60 to 70 hour weeks are killing my forum time....haven't posted much of anything except in the live from the stand thread and I did post the story of my deer....i did get a buck on the ground and have to enter it in still....small 6 pointer....around 50 inches I'm guessing...my first buck with a bow....pretty proud of it.....I'll be out for doe as well...things are calming down a little at work so I'll be on more once that happens.....in the mean time good luck guys

Well done guys, keep knocking them down. I'll be out as much as possible the next 2 weeks. I've been seeing deer but haven't seen a mature buck at all. Some guys are saying they are starting to see some older deer with their noses to the ground but I'm yet to see it. We caught a cold front last night unfortunately I had a meeting this morning and plans this evening that kept me out of a stand but I'll be out nearly every day from here until the 15th.
Got out a couple times over the weekend, saw a good number of does but no bucks following yet. In fact every doe I saw had fawns with her, which I found odd for this time of the year. Not sure that means anything or not...
yup I will, been extremely busy... i'll have to go back and look and see not only how to score the buck, but do we have to have some sort of form to turn in with the score? surely they don't take your word for it.
There are instructions on how to do it. And you should go to the score card page and look at how other guys posted there score.
How are the woods looking for you guys? Yesterday afternoon was the first time I saw some hardcore rut action. It is officially on, unfortunately it was followed by the front moving in bringing 40+ mph winds. Tomorrow late afternoon the winds should calm down enough to be in a stand again. I passed a small 8 yesterday afternoon and saw 2 other bucks but didn't have a shot at them. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time now. Good luck guys!
I'm having an extremely rough season. I haven't seen a deer in at least 10-15 sits. I'm at square one. Trying new stuff to get something to happen... Super frustrated!
Hey team sorry I haven't been on much. Between being out of state an finishing moving everything to our new house. I was planning on going out this weekend but I lost the head gasket in my truck so with a lot of money goin to repairs no chance this time. But next time I get home its on. I see we've got a few for the score board. Congrats guys. An good luck to everyone else on getting a buck to take a dirt nap. But either way buck or doe its all meat in the freezer. In glad that I could be part of this awesome sister/brother hood. Thanks everyone an again good luck. P.S. I'll try an be on more.
Just entered my buck from Oct and My doe from last night.....100 points on the board....that concludes my bow season as regular season opens saturday.....it was a pleasure and I swear next year I'll be more active on the team thread....good luck with the rest of the season everyone....I'll be checking in so post up them pics!
Congrats Backstrap! Sat tonight at my buddy's place and saw a couple small bucks but nothing close. Back to my place tomorrow for an all day hunt. Hopefully I get something close, I have an all day meeting Thursday and Friday is the last day before rifle.
