I do head out on a scouting trip to the west side of the state on Monday/Tuesday of this coming week Going to walk out 800 acres and set some cameras out and maybe find time for a sit. I'm pretty excited for this year. I'm on a 3 year drought with my bow after hitting a 130" 8 in no man's land in '16. Starting October 28th, I begin my Rutcation. I won't be back to work until the first week in December. Sorry for the late role call, I didn't realize we were a team. I haven't received any messages on it until this morning. And it's been a busy day at work. Finally got some time to sit and relax a bit. But tonight is probably going to be busy again. But I'm all in and ready to go! Good luck guys! I've been looking at getting the stratus seriesTfrom Sitka. The wife and I are going on a cruise in February so I'll be waiting to buy until next year. I want to try the stratus and then get more sets for different times of the year and areas to hunt. I hear it's the cats meow.

First hunt of the season tonight was uneventful. Big temp drop but it’s falling even more as I type this. Down to 42 tonight from 75 Wednesday, wish I could hunt the morning, but that’s the life of a 3rd shifter. I’ll be doing most of my posting at night due to that fact. It felt great knocking the dust off. Any time in the woods is a blessing, just wasn’t on them tonight. Looking great! I wish I didn't get off work until 7am. It was a nice cold front this morning and I would have loved to be out. I'm heading out to go shoot at our range right now. Gotta get used to this new XOP climber I just picked up.
