I've been there man, not only did I loose a deer, it was a buck and it was the biggest deer I've ever shot. I found it 3 days later completely eaten by coyotes. Don't worry man, put in a 100% in recovery and keep at it. You shot her, surely you can do it again. Good luck bro

Went out this morning. Was windy as hell. Bad part is my alarm went off at 4:00 am. by the time i got everything togther and left arrived at my spot at 4:50 and got ready to walk to the stand but realized i left my phone at home. so i get to my stand thinking man it sure is dark for 5:30am. My iphone didnt update and when i woke up at 4am it was really 3am. so i sat for really long time /facepalm didnt see jack **** except for a opossum and 2 foxes... neither fox gave a shot.

sorry for being so inactive on here..

got a question for u all. I got a buck, but do I have the option of only turning it in for fifty points?? I know im not guaranteed to get a shot at another buck, but I shot the smallest buck on my hit list. what do yallthink I should do?

Got out for a short sit tonight. Had a really nice buck at about 55 yards in the brush but no shot. It's that time of the year!

    sorry everyone...
ive been laid up for the last few days with migrains.. I get one about twice a year, and am absolutely worthless when I have one. so....I have not scored my buck yet. im guessing he will be somewhere in the 100 to 110 range, but I really dunno. he was fairly tall, but not very wide. I guess we will see...

good luck to everyone goin out this evening!!

Hey team! First off, congrats on the deer!! Second, sorry havent been on the site lately. Seems if Im not working, Im in the stand. Either way, no access to the BH.com site. The bucks here are starting to chase! Finally!! Action should be picking up here soon!! My parents are coming up this weekend. Last year this time was a very lucky weekend for me and my parents were visiting then also...good luck charm?? Im keeping my fingers crossed it proves true once again. Next bit of awesome news, I have two new stand set ups on a 40 parcel...NEVER been hunted in the last 10 + years...from west to east the property is a small corn field that runs into pines which runs into hard woods with a low lying pond that appears mostly dried up. Set up one stand between the pines and hardwoods/pond where 3 huge new scrapes were made...second stand set up is between the corn and pines...No idea what is on this property, but Im thinking if the deer are looking at this place as a safe haven for so long, there may be a few surprises in this area?? What do you guys think?
