I saw lots of wild life when I was in Manhattan the past few days, especially around Times Square. I didn't think that was what you meant though.

I'm gettin screwed, 3 deer from my property, one bein one of my 8's have been killed by cars in 2 days. This is gettin ridiculous

I ain't got jack shiz happenin on my property, lots of rubs an scrapes but only one buck sighting.

Operation thwack a doe is in progress as we speak!

 

I had a gift few around me just before shooting light. .. haven't seen jack since. .

Its cold this morning tho.

 

Had a spike at less than 10 yards. Pretty neat encounter but no other action this morning.

 

Freezin here winds blowin like hell I can't hear crap UGH!

 

Just got setup in my ghillie suit for the evening. There's a lot of wind, but I found some huge rubs on my way in.

 

Saw 12 deer yesterday 4 bucks 4 does and 4 yearlings. Dude two of those bucks were pigs!! Anyways never got a shot and tonight nothing came by but a doe. So I took her. With as little hunting I am doing I can't pass on more venison. Mmmmmm I think I'll be able to make a ton of jerky!

Got a new stand set up, got a lot of deer crap on this treeline an trails intersecting everywhere through the field. Gotta do some trimming but I can see a lot an I mean a lot of ground from here!

 

Got a hell of a buck on cam, I'm talkin trophy class for round here. Came through at 6:26am this morning. Bout 40 minutes before sunlight, sure hope he decides to take a stroll past my new stand

 

Sorry I haven't been on much. Just got back from my Wyoming antelope hunt. I was fortunate enough to take both a buck and a doe on what ended up being the most fun and frustrating hunt I've been on. Great time though and I'll def be heading back out to one of the better units to chase some bigger bucks at some point.
Now to get focused back on whitetail. Prob won't get back out again until Saturday but I'm off all of next week.

Nice sage goat! Well...where do I start...he who I shall not name may have done in one hunting spot. Took two pokes at two deer within 3 days. Most likely hit a branch on both shots. One deer Im sure was mortally wounded, the other was educated. So food plot area in the woods is out of play for some time. I do have a third stand set up about 100 yards away along the deer highway which I may try on Saturday. Good news is I have 3 new bigger contenders in the secondary food plot! Good luck everyone, stay warm and lets get back up on that score board!!

 

Went out in the am and pm and seen a total of 9 doe. Im just gonna wait till after the rut to put another doe down. I had my climber nomore the 12 ft up and had 3 doe under me for 6 mins smelling my cigarette butt and they didnt spook. But seems like the bucks aint intrested in the doe population yet.

 

Just curious, if you have that many does around why would you have reservations about taking another? What is the limit where you are?
