My point exactly, I don't wanna have a doubt of "did it open?" I wanna know that as soon as I let that arrow go that no matter what the deer is gonna get cut!

I knew the ankle wouldn't have held out for the long hike, so I went with a think stand near a swamp. It's thick! -Bill
Wow...regardless what someone shoots, its all personal perference. I absolutley love my Rage 2 blades, have been shooting them since they came out, and have not had any issues at all. As a matter of fact, my first black bear hunt, I was dealing with winds which wear gusting pretty darn good and took the shot between gusts as best I could. Hit the bear farther back than I wanted. Yet because I did shoot the Rage, which left a 4 inch entry hole, that is the only thing which made me able to recover that animal. Ive been told that the bears hair reacts weird with broadheads because of the way the hair lays. I still have recovered all of my bears, same with my other half who shoots Rage 2 blade simply beacuse of the cutting diameter. I have had other people who have hunted bear with fixed blade and never recovered their animal because of the tallow plugging the small entry/exit holes and no blood trail. Personal perference yes, but there are certainly some tools which may be better equiped for some jobs than others. Im off my soapbox now
