Two problems I have: 1) where I hunt (generally) there is no phone/network service; 2) when I'm working im not checking the phone (nor the forum, tapatalk, Facebook or personal email)...

Y'all can, I stick strictly to the forum/this thread for team communication. Facebook is always an option too but for the most part Imma stick to this.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been as active as I have in past seasons! This past month and a half I've been working 70+ hours! Full time framing and part time remodeling. Should be wrapping up my part time job this week and I am leaving my full time job to start a new job as a finish carpenter. On top of all that we're expecting our first child 9/28! To make up for my obviously shortened season I ended up getting a license to hunt CT as well as MA. Didn't get a doe permit for MA this year but who cares. The CT season opens a month before MA plus I get 4 any sex tags. I'll be hunting on private farm land. With lots of big buck sign!! My MA spot is loaded with bucks mostly (6 PTs and under) but has a few giants around. I'll be out as much as humanly possible until Rachel is born. Looking forward to getting to know you guys. Awesome avatar btw!

Don't worry about that! I'm the kind of guy who measures my deer and submits my 2 pics the day I get him! I am all about winning this thing. Everyone going to be able to take a doe this year? That alone is an extra 50 pts each and some tender backstraps in the freezer!

 

Amen to that brother!!! I feel like just about anyone an everyone should be able to get a doe on the ground. We're gonna get it done this season that one thing that's certain!

 

I would have to agree that everyone seems to "click" pretty well here. After yesterday, I am ready to rock n rock! ALready have some leaves dropping from the trees, but need alot more to drop off before it will be worth my will to even go up and sit. Of course there is still some time yet. The pictures from my trail cams tho...those are not helping me stay calm!

If you guys get a chance and do the facebook stuff, check out the "UP Full Draw" facebook page. I and a couple other guys have some pics posted of food plots, target deer for this year, and of course some tips on stuff, and general chit chat stuff. Always looking for some likes on the page if you so choose.

Pulled two cards from my farm in PA. Skimmed through one on my phone and saw a few decent bucks. Ill check the other tom and hopefully post up a couple pics. I'm fletchin up some arrows now.

Same here! I hate the ride home from the property jut for that reason, them damn cards burn holes in my pockets till I know what's on em!

 

In all honesty, my laptop is broken so I have to wait until I get to work tom to check one of the cards. I try to use micro SD cards with adapters in all of my cams so I can check them on my phone but I didn't have any when I hung that cam. I started fletching arrows and doing some other stuff to take my mind off of the cards but I'll prob end up goin into work a little early tom cuz its driving me nuts.

 

Bummer bout the laptop man! But I feel ya on gettin to work early I'd be the first one there if I were you

 

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! Got 2 other stands ready and cams switched around, got that monster buck on camera 3 days in a row right at the same time. Things are looking promising if he stays on schedule! Hoping to hunt the one farm and bag a doe in the morning then head to the soybean farm and wait out the giant. Gonna be a long week and a half!!!!

 

Just knowing its out there with a bunch of thiefs lurking around the woods makes me wanna check on it every 3 hrs lol

 

Yea....Exactly why I have a viewer that I take in with me when I check the trail cams! Can't stand to wait any longer than nessecary!
