Gclift... You get two more circumference measurements for that buck. Bigger than 143 nice deer. Deer is a 6x6 5 circumference each side.

I am not sure what system you are using, but Boone and Crockett only allows four mass measurements.

    Hey fellas,
Well we've got another one on the board. I wasn't expecting much this weekend but I got a nice surprise. Gotta give a big shout out to my buddy Matt. I don't know what it is but I always seem to have good luck on his property. The plan Saturday was to go in and hunt and hour or so and then go to work preping some stands for the rut. Needless to say that part of it didn't get done yet. He ended up scoring 143-5/8". I'll get the official score sheet posted in a few.

Grats on the exceptional deer gents, Now for the bad news, the last time I hit a stand was on the 9th. Was informed Friday that I have to work Saturdays also to fix some major errors created by the last manager who held my position. Appears my season has ended before it really began, very depressing to say the least. I work hard all year long to have time to bowhunt, it is my passion. Sadest part is I put a deposit down on the new 2013 Bear method bow, suppose to pick it up this Friday..............I guess I can always target shoot)))

Chances of me getting a buck is slim to none, I will be very lucky to get 2 or 3 sits in by the end of November.

Hey guys, do me a favor. Post those deer scores in the score thread, we may actually have the lead once they are posted. I am feeling really down in the dumps and need something to lift my spirit.

Great job on the buck and the doe guys. I shot a doe on Saturday, so here's another 50 pts for the team. I already put two pics in the contest thread.

Dave... Don't give up. Where there's a will there's a way. I find that things usually tend to work out in the end.

Amen to that. One thing you guys need to know is I will never give up and never give in. I hobbled around last year on a broke foot and hunted like a mad man. Ask around the forum..............folks will tell you I am a crazy hunting fool.

Just an update here fellas. The front has blown into WI and will be 30 degrees cooler by late tonight into tomorrow, so the deer movement should rock. I'm going to try to get a couple hunts in before I leave for my trip to Minnesota. I'll be out there trying my best to get on a good one, and quite frankly I need the vacation. So good luck everyone, the best time is just in front of us.

Alright, finally gonna be able to get out this saturday. Weather looks decent. Finally able to hunt the property across from mine after years of persuading. My dad spotted a nice 200+ lb 10 pointer last night, hopefully he'll stick around for the weekend!
Got a new spot near school too, went out the other night to look at the property and saw 14 deer in a back corn field. Of course with my luck I didn't have a pair of binocs with me. Well wish me luck! I'll keep you guys posted! Good luck to all!

Nice... Dave's right... if we want to have a shot at winning this thing we need as many doe's on the board as we can get. My plan is to get one on the ground soon. Hopefully? I wish you all good luck!
