Hit the new stand location lastnight. slipped in at 3pm and at 3:45 I had two bucks cruise by at 60 yards. As soon as I saw them I knew they were nothing special, first was a 100 class 8 point. Second buck was a good size fork buck, large rack, large body but I could tell he was young.

Around 4:30 the wind did a complete 180, sat there for 10 minutes to see if it would switch back and it didnt. Got down and relocated to a better stand for the east wind. Saw 1 doe at 40 yards around 6pm, no shot.

Are any of you using cover scents or scent killer? I wash My clothes in Scent Killer Gold and I use the Earth scent cover sray from Wildlife research Center. It works great in My Opinion.

I've been out a few times since opening day. I have been seeing quite a few deer but nothing worth shooting. I did have a couple small does at 30yds the other day but elected to pass on them and wait to see what else walked past. Still have a ton of season left.

We have a buck that will be on the board soon! I shot a good 130's to 140's eleven this morning. If I had remembered to take pictures of my doe I would have all the points I could, but will get another at some point! Hope everyone is having some luck out there![IMG][IMG][IMG]

Was out last night. Got in the stand about 2:30
after a while I hear what sounds like 2 people on a steady walk. I look an there is a big ol girl. I slowly stand up and get my bow in hand. I knock. She stops right behind 2 cedar tree saplings. can not see her body only her head. I draw back and wait for her to get in the opening about 20yrds. I hold full draw for what seems like for ever. Cant hold any more she isn't moving. let down Coyote comes in and spook's her. DAMN! so close.
