My vote was for the camo background one and usually guys will set it as their picture but it is up to you!
This is my biggest deer. He scored 126ish I think? My second biggest was a 120" 10 pointer shot on the other side of this same ridge in 2012. I didn't think this deer would have scored that high otherwise I would have had him mounted. I did an antler mount so if I shoot a heavy bodied deer in the next few years I'll use this rack on a fat cape. I also shot a 110" 8 year old buck in 2015 on opening day in the first few seconds of the season on the same ridge. It's kind of a hot spot. I found that I can't hunt this property too hard. I hunted this property very often in 2013 and 2014 and didn't see any shooters. But I also didn't really know how the deer were using this property until late in 2014.
This is how my property is if I hunt to hard the big boys leave I gotta hunt it just right. Sent from my iPod touch using Bowhunting.com Forums
I will be the first to say I have not shot a deer over 100 inches I have shot at them but never have connected fully I hope to change that this year this is my best deer
This is my best so far. Scored at 128 4/8. 2011 I believe. Hoping this is the year I beat that Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Hopefully everyone can better their best buck whether by score or encounter. That should work well for the contest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm right there with you I've killed one or two just over 100 inches I missed about a 130 10 point last year around November 11 then I had another chance at him December 31 tried to call him in and had a nice eight point come in and I took him instead it's my best deer yet
Biggest I've ever taken with a bow was 3 years ago. Nice 12 point with both brow tines forked. Can't imagine what he would have looked like a few years down the road. Honestly, I still haven't even scored him. There are a lot of good 3 and 4 year old deer on the farm, but most are nocturnal. We'll see what happens! Posting a few pictures from past year's hunts. Deer in food plot early January last year. Buck passed during late muzzleloader in January. Should be real good this year. Last years buck. He had a broken leg that must have been from the year before. He would have been fine. I thought he had been shot because he was limping really badly. A couple of bucks I shot with bow are on this wall and most from the past from my dad or found dead. Elk I shot 2 years ago on public land in Idaho. This year will be in Colorado on some private ground. No tag for me. Just my dad and friends going. Shot this buck at 3-5 yards and was the first nice size deer for our area I've shot. 2013 I believe. Halloween buck. This buck was 2015. Double drop tine buck. Had to find him the next day. I hit him back and was afraid of jumping him. It snowed all night. Had to grid search on my own to find him. He was dead the night before, but you never know. Just started bowhunting in 2010. I've been lucky to take some nice deer where luck was on my side. Figured pictures tell more of story then me talking about it. Didn't mention before. Married for 3 years and have a 16 month old son. Have a great wife that doesn't hunt, but understands my obsession. Very fortunate to have some private land to hunt in a beautiful area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What do you guys think same deer? I pulled cards today for the last time and got this guy on there he's a shooter but I can't tell if it's the same deer. Sent from my iPod touch using Bowhunting.com Forums
i think quite possibly that may be the same deer. a bit more growth from left to right tho. gut seems to be sagging more as well but that could just be the angle
He is moving during daylight hours already......maybe you can get a shot at him early before the hunting pressure makes him less visible. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
The only thing that worries me is that is is so close to sunrise that I could bump him out in the dark and not even know it.
