I love the darkness of that rack! On another good note. My dad is seeing all kinds of deer pass my ground blind that I haven’t hunted on crick. Including a young deer with droptine. Looks like my wife is going to really hate bowhunting this year. Once Dec 18 comes I can hunt until Jan 10. Then the long wait happens again. Luckily she puts up with my crazy obsession. Was going to hunt this evening, but life happened. And weather too. 25 mph winds are too much. My niece is sick, so I'm covering for her mom at work instead. I guess it really worked out best for everyone. Good luck to whoever is out. Looks like big cold front coming in this week. This was shot next to our farm I primarily hunt. I shot a buck with my doe tag. Had already shed his antlers. Very weird for this time of year. I have a video of this deer that shows the true size. This picture doesn’t give it justice. Heck of a deer. I’m guessing at least 6-7 years old. Happy for the other guy that got him. His dad has been battling cancer.
