    These turkeys are lucky my dad wasn’t in this stand. Didn’t buy a turkey tag this year. My dad has a tag. Rainy morning here.

    Hoping to get a doe today. Getting itchy to get some meat.

    Broken up buck was in shooting range. Passed him. Tried shooting doe but didn’t get a good shot while drawn. She was sketchy with that buck around.

    Another nice buck came by at 35 yards right at last light.

    Haven’t been able to get out this week.. weather has been horrible we had 3 deer of standing water in my street last night.. it’s all cleared up and I would go out today but I have to attend a wake. Hopefully I can get out this week after work. I know I’m going pheasant hunting this week for sure though!

    Shot at a doe tonight at 20 yards. I was kneeling down in hunting blind. Not sure what happened. Either my bow or the arrow hit bottom of window still. I’m assuming arrow. It was stuck in the ground, but at a weird angle. Easy shot and unaware deer. I guess I can’t kneel in there for shorter shots.

    Several deer came out downwind about 200-300 yards for quite awhile. Finally one of them blew and the rest of the day was done.

    Earlier today at 1 when I got out. I saw a shooter running by. Problem was someone was talking in the neighbors. I was set up right by his bedding area and he got kicked out. I moved to the blind after that.

    Sat tonight and had a good buck come to 80 yards then randomly turn around and go back to where he came from.

    Hiking in deep tomorrow morning. Should be about 25 degrees and I havent hunted this spot all year. I hope Im not too late for some good action.
