F872031A-1EC6-4F7C-8BFA-170D6B6F24BB.jpeg Saw another good buck today, can’t see it that well but it’s a decent 8 pt. Definitely one I would shoot. About 200 yards from one of my stands. Full moon is Friday and I’ll be off work around 11:30 hope to be in the stand from about 2 til dark. Gunna hunt hard this weekend, it’s open weekend of muzzleloader in TN. It’s time fellas we need some deer on the ground!

Had a couple of spikes walk through the saddle today. They seem to be moving between 9 to 10am every morning.

I’ve been out several times the last few weeks. I saw two yesterday. Nothing worth shooting. We just had a storm come through and we just got power back last night. I was going to hunt this morning but I slept in. I’m out now but I’m on the ground because I forgot my climber. I shot a doe here last year but haven seen much since. We’ll see how it goes.

Well maybe I made the wrong choice. 3 trucks were parked when I got here. Walked past two of them. Pretty sure I'm the farthest back but I don't have much faith

Temps haven't been great but next weeks temps which correspond to the best hunting week of the year seem sold. Mid 30s at night, 50s during the day. Ill take those. KILL

Get that corn out! Get that corn out! Stop raining says the farmer and the anxious hunter.

Either way. I’ll get 5 all day sits in the next 10 days. Maybe a couple night sits too. Probably pass on does at this point. We have a food plot that can produce does late once it snows.

I'll be heading to the woods in a half hour or so. Light rain, crappy wind direction. Deer are really moving and I'm not gonna let that stop me. Probably head to my buddy's late morning to throw clothes in dryer and get a bite to eat. Good luck guys
