Gonna be heading for the woods in a few minutes. My buddy said the deer were finally moving before dark yesterday. Sure glad they got that corn out!
    Good luck today everyone

Hoping corn is out by our farm too. It really pulls the deer the wrong way. Especially when our Farm was in beans and both neighbor farms.

Buddy shot at a wall hanger yesterday within a mile of our Farm. His string came off. Don’t know the whole story. Bow shop thought a stick might have gotten in it.

I haven’t been able to get out. Good news is I have a new truck coming. It will be my first truck. I’m really excited. Would really like to put a deer in it the first day. Was having some mechanical issues with jeep. Messed up hunting this weekend.

Best of luck to everyone out!

Good luck mates. I'm still at the hospital today but the deer better watch out tomorrow 'cause I'm coming for them! I'll be watching y'all's posts today, so somebody put the smack down on something.

Saw a 6 point last night, the wind shifted to the north west which is ideal for my favorite stand around Halloween, usually see some good bucks so I’m gonna go there tonight

Good luck guys! I'm gearing up and resting up for tomorrow. Rains and winds are pounding us here....but should let up a couple hours before sunup tomorrow. Sneaking into what I think is a good spot well before sun up.

Had this guy at 8 yrds this morning. Saw 5 little bucks total. No shooters for this property. Haven't seen a doe tho. Pretty odd. Took 2 hr break for lunch. Had a 7 pt walking around 5 minutes after getting back in stand. Hope that's a good sign

Man I’m pissed... walked in late... checked trail cam when I got in the tree and see this [IMG][IMG] didn’t spook him just was right behind him. So while I’m hunting 2 does come out and go on their way and knowing he’s in the area I’m hoping he was behind them... and he wasn’t. so it’s getting dark I have 5 more min of shooting light and it starts raining so I’m like **** this and climb down.. I turn around and guess who is standing there looking at me.......-_- he came upwind and out the trail the does went in like 10 minute after they headed that way. The last damn thing I expected!

[IMG][IMG] but his neck sure does look swelled up and he’s running around in the daytime so it’s on now. I’m focusing on him this week

Saw lots of deer today. Only thing close enough to shoot were too small to shoot on that property. My buddy got a decent doe tho, and I came home with the heart, so it wasn't a total loss :)

Well mates, setback this morning. Got everything all loaded up last night after getting home from the hospital so I'd be ready to hit the road first thing this morning. Hopped in the truck this morning and took off. Got a couple of miles and the transmission started slipping really bad. Well it's about an hour and a half drive to my spot so I wasn't going to chance driving a sick truck that far. Turned around and got back home ok. I've transfered all my stuff to the car but with the long drive I wouldn't be able to get there before daylight. So I'm heading out later this morning to hang a new stand and try to trim out enough to get a shot in the thick pines. Oh, and shop for a new truck.

That's a crappy way to start the day. Or maybe it's a blessing in disguise. All a matter of perspective I guess. Hope it all works out great for you brother
