My buddy smoked a monster doe tonight! I thought i heard him shoot and As i was texting him “did you just shoot?” He called me excited as can be “I JUST SMOKED ONE!” It was his first deer with a compound and I think I was more excited for him than he was lol [IMG]

Temps rising for two days then dropping Tuesday through Friday. I could see a little flurry of action Thurs and Fri mornings.

[IMG] things are about to get really amped up very soon, between 3 properties i was at over the weekend, I have scrapes and rubs all over. This weather will kick things up a notch, it’s been mid to high 70s past week and a half.

Andrew, those are some great temps entering the first part of November. Those bucks will be moving hard. We are predicted to be about 5-10 degrees warmer than that during the day and night during that same time period.

Hunting public land this evening. Had a solid 135-140" buck watch me drive in. He was about 130 yrds from where I park. Of course he was on private land lol. He watched me about 5 minutes

Lol. Thanks guy but I don't hunt grounds with a ton of bucks that I would like to arrow. In a nutshell, I grind out bucks by hunting hard and it's hard to catch them before Nov 5th or so.

    But I'll try my best!

Judging by the number of dead deer on the side of the road.. I think they are starting to move. We have a rain storm ending in about 2 hours and I know the bucks will be out in the morning freshening up scrapes... but I told my dad I’d work with him in the morning... shot myself in the foot in that one lol

Nothing wrong with helping your dad. That is the right thing to do. Probably would have burned out spot you went to. Haha

This doesn’t look too bad. Hoping for more snow then rain. 26 for a low will get em up. Forecast petered out this past weekend and stayed warm.

Scarps, those temps and conditions will get them moving.

Team.....time to kill. By the weekends end we need three deer down. Over and out.
