Went on neighbors property. They are total asshats. I'm sure they'll recover it, but won't let anyone on their property. Really upsets me. Coyote howled just as I was ready to shoot . Me and the deer both flinched. Not making excuses. Just telling my story. Pretty bummed right now Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
That's always a tough pill to swallow it's sad that they won't even let you track a deer, I understand not allowing hunting but most landowners I know who don't want hunters on their property don't want a rotting deer on it ether. Sent from my iPod touch using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m the stand, kicked up a doe and 2 youngins on the way in.. was 38 degrees this morning now it’s 76... I’m currently shirtless sweating like Hitler looking at his gas bill but I’ll wait it out and see if anything comes out lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RK.....you know as well as I do that persistence pays off in the deer woods. I've been right where you are at and it stings. Lesson learned for all of us on your hunt....if you think you made a bad hit and only see blood spraying out one side.....back off for 3 to 4 hrs before beginning the track. I pushed a single lung shot doe so hard last year and never found her. I felt terrible. The season is long brother.......time to KILL!
I remember about 10 years ago or so I hunted hard. Maybe like 35 sits and on average, 5 hours a sit. I saw 15 deer total. Killed 3 of them. Tested my patience to the max that year but it made me a better hunter mentally. I can withstand a lot of crap in the deer stand now. I just keep my head down and keep at it. This team seems to be a great bunch of guys........the good stuff is about a month out. Here we go!
Had 2 does come behind me and had no idea they were even there until they blew and ran away.. probably saw me move or something Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I saw that thing I’m surprised it was in full velvet! Sent from my iPod touch using Bowhunting.com Forums
He was on the team I was on last year, great guy that’s an awesome buck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Won't be hunting until mid October due to work and other obligations. Not a bad thing. Had a friend shoot a nice buck yesterday on opening day. Going to get my cousin into bow hunting also. Very last minute, but stay within 25 yards and he will be fine. He has hunted his whole life. Excited about hunting with him. He is coming up Oct 20 to hunt all weekend. That will be the first weekend of hard hunting. He said he hasn't shot a bow since boy scouts. Keep at it boys. Lots of time.
Hot weather and rain in the forecast for the next week, probably won’t get out in the woods but who knows, I change my mind so fast I can’t even trust myself to say that lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's funny. I know the feeling. We have a cold snap coming next Tuesday and Wednesday. Might have to miss some work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just got a new ground blind setup ready to go. Hoping to get my Wife out this weekend. Getting a little bit colder here. Pulled a decent looking deer off the camera this week. Not a ton of points but a nice wide spread. Hoping he shows up during the day! Sent from my HTC6545LVW using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Got it done in Wyoming. Have a few doe tags I'm working on filling now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That cold snap looks like it’s hitting me Wednesday and Thursday, until then it looks like 80s.. except it’s been getting really cold at night like mid 40s at night and highs in the 80s during the day so a morning hunt is do-able. But man is that weather messing with my sinuses.. I’ve been sick for a week now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
