I'll be up in a tree this time tomorrow. Taking dad out for opening day. He had back surgery in June and wasn't sure he'd be able to hunt. He's doing great tho, and he's super excited for tomorrow :)

So we have a lope a bear one deer and a fathers elk if i'm not mistaken, I can feel the change of fall coming, 40s for me in the morning and I pray something walks by because my freezer is empty and as of now I am having the slowest season ever but I am hoping it is the calm before the rut storm!

My daughter and I put up the ground blind for our morning hunt tomorrow. We are setting between some white oaks, my pond and a pine tree grove. Hopefully we will see some deer, the camera has been showing alot of action in the mornings.

Got skunked... until I walked out and saw my target 10 point walking across the bean field 100 yards away... then I checked my camera and had both my hitlister in front of my stand between 7-8:30 am today but I wasn’t there :)
