Won't be able to hunt this until hard frost. It is too high. Unbelievable how well this has grown.

Anyone have a suggestion or preference on ground blind bow holders/hangers? I want to pick one up this weekend but not sure if I want one that hangs the bow from the roof or a stake that sticks in the ground??

HME makes some pretty decent holders for ground blinds. Go on amazon and search ground blind bow holders. There's alot of choices there. Hope that helps.

My cell camera is telling me my foodplot is getting hammered in the mornings. My favorite stand overlooks that plot so I guess I'm going to need a plan b for morning hunts. Still I'm glad to see all the action going on there.

I get to Virginia this morning around 7 and it's the coldest temps I've felt since May. Shoulda bought tags. @virginiashadow where are you hunting. Passed a field on 95 this morning to the north of Newport News and it was LOADED with deer. Couldn't make out any antler from the highway.

I hunt in Northern Virginia. Temps are gonna rise a bit coming into opening morning next Saturday. Still not bad as they will be in the upper 70s.

Well guys I will be out of communication for the next 10 days. Heading west. I have two antelope tags in SD, two more in WY, and then if I tag out I will be archery hunting muleys back in SD. Wish me luck!

IMG_0340.PNG MFDC5958.JPG MFDC6996.JPG MFDC7353.JPG Got a couple young bucks and one decent buck. Was hoping for more but I always get some new bucks that come around during rut. Saw 4 does this evening, decided to give them a pass. Anybody else in the woods this weekend?
