Back up bow is a $150 Reflex Excursion. Lol...killed a couple dozen deer with it up until about 5 years ago. Still shoots great and is comfortable on the draw.

I'm using a bow that's more than half my age haha.. its a Pearson. Bought it at a yard sale when I was 16 for 40 bucks. Still shoots great I'll probly treat myself to a new one in another year or two. I figure if it ain't broke don't fix it. I almost bought a new one a few years ago but I bought a crossbow instead. It's a Parker enforcer.

Back up bow is bow anarchy. Nap apache rest. Trophy Ridge react sight. Hope to never shoot it again. My first bow. Wasn't sized right for me on the draw.

Shooting a bowtech experience now. Black gold sight. Nap apache drop away rest. 31 inch draw length at 59 pounds. 419 grain fmj with nap killzone broadheads.

Going to try 125 fixed blades in the future as permanent broadhead. Probably slick trick viper trick which are cut on contact. Like the expendables, but I always change things for elk hunting. Like the idea of sticking with one thing in the future.

Fixed blades are my go to. I’ll always have a fixed blade on my compound bow but I think I’ll switch to rage hyperdermics on my crossbow one my old Razorback 142gr are all used up just because they don’t make them anymore. But my gosh do those thing tear up a deer.. and next year I think I might switch to dirtnaps for my compound.

For bows, my main hunting bow is a creed xs, HHA kingpin, Qad, Tactacam stab and black eagle deep impacts tipped with wacem. My back up is an Athens Solace with HHA sight and rest.
Out in the stand again tonight, temp is nice at 54 with a cool NW wind. Hasn't been much action but still a prefect night for a sit.

For some reason Tapatalk stopped sending me notifications when you guys comment on the thread, so I thought all you were being boring...

Anyways, I shoot a Mathews No Cam. The complete set up is in my signature. I've been very happy with it. I get robbed of any speed because I have a 26.5" draw. The bow is incredibly smooth though.

I bought a camera last night. I picked up a Sony A300 DSLR for some b-roll footage and pictures. My dad has a camcorder he bought and never really used so I'm gonna take that off his hands. I've never filmed hunts before so I'm excited to try something new.

I haven't been out hunting lately. It's been too hot. Of course, I'm leaving for VA tonight and the temps are going to drop about 20 degerees in the next two days. Just my luck.
