I spent the afternoon doing some work to my climber. I have a Lone Wolf Sit-and-Climb. I wrapped the outside edge with paracord to keep the noise down when I pull up my bow and pack. I also used some straps to attach my Hooeyman saw so I have it with me. It's one of those things that I need every time I leave it at home but there's no good way to bring it with me.
I had to get new cables on mine and rigged up a way to bring my bag up when I climb so the only thing I pull up is my bow! Sent from my iPod touch using Bowhunting.com Forums
Get a bow holder from thirdhandarchery.com I climb with mine all the time. Watch the videos he has on website. I won't climb without stabilizer straps for sure. They make it rock solid Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
What kind of stand do you have? I have the Third Hand and I can't figure out how to get it to work with my stand. I'm not a huge fan of putting it on the platform because it eats into my footspace.
I have an ol man climber. Supposed to mount it on hand rail. I think he has videos on different mounting positions for different stands. If Not, give him a call. Jim is a stand up guy. Super nice. I'm sure he'll talk you thru some options Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Watching my Browns get smoked by the steelers today, then possibly going to buy a camcorder to start filming hunts I've always wanted to do it so I might make the move depending on how lazy I feel today lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry but I gotta say it! "Go Steelers". It must be a little rough being a Browns fan! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Man rough 1st half. Browns Defense had Steelers number. "Fricken Stressfully to watch" Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I like the browns defense this year, I'm impressed with kizer. Kid looks confident Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Really thinking about getting rid of my lone wolf combo II climber for a summit viper... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've got a viper. I really like it. Made some slight modifications with the foot brackets, replaced them with rubber straps bolted in the middle and I put some camo painted carpet down on the base for sound
The seat just is not comfortable on mine. And with the viper I can climb slightly bigger trees Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I love my viper but I would agree I would change the foot brackets I changed mine after one season. Sent from my iPod touch using Bowhunting.com Forums
Weather starting to cool. Oct 7th for general bow season is getting close.... Setting some stands on the small private prop I have access to. Maybe get 4 to 5 hunts there this year. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Anybody check out the scorecard today? That 185" buck looks like it might need measured again Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I was curious about that too.. maybe 160-170 but doesn't look like a 185".. either way it's a great buck. I won't make a big deal about it though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
