    Season opens in 2 weeks here in Missouri. It's still a little hot so I may wait another week or so before I head out. I'm hanging a new stand this week and will be checking trail cams soon!

    Tried finding a new tree, but went with the same tree I have been in the last 3 years for this spot. You can see box blind in one picture. That is where my dad will be most days this fall.

    it was a crisp 49 degrees this morning in NE Tennessee.. its like mother nature is just teasing away.

    I'm working 1hr and 20 min away from my cabin tonight so after work I'm going down there to check trail cams that haven't been checked yet.. wish me luck!

    CWD was just found last year in our area. Something we will have to deal with for a long time. Spring rifle hunt didn't get anymore positive tests, but once it is here it sounds like it will stay. Hangs out in ground and passed by saliva.
