I've never hunted waterfowl but dove hunted a few times. Been long time though. Last time I went was in Texas when stationed at fort hood and left there in 2004. Tried to squirrel hunt last year once deer season was over. Damn things pissed me off during deer season, but didn't see even 1 when tried to get revenge Roll Tide Roll
What was your MOS? I was at Ft Hood back in 88-89. I was 11m with the 2/41 inf 2AD before they were deactivated.

I know what ya mean. I was planning making a career of it. I did 12 1/2 years. I got pretty messed up on my 3 tour and got medically retired. I still miss it though Roll Tide Roll
Thanks man, but it's just a job. I joined to get out of town and change direction I was heading down at that time in my life. Once there you get real close to your brothers in arms. It's those things I miss most. Your brothers were always there for you and you for them Roll Tide Roll
Got back from Georgia at 2:30 last night and then tried to get as much sleep as I could because I have to head over to the chicken houses to run them all day. I got a good bit on house down today. Next week suppose to get power and plumbing roughed in. Fingers crossed. Opener is 1 Oct. Wife wants to be moved in by her birthday on Halloween. We will have to see how it plays out. Roll Tide Roll
