Only buck pic I got today, 2 days ago still had velvet. I moved a couple of cameras and may put 2 up tomorrow at a different property.
I was on the golf course in southern pa earlier this week and saw a small buck that looked like he had just recently rubbed off velvet. His horns had a reddish tint. Saw two bucks today that looked like they were rubbed off as well. I agree let’s get em !!!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Starting all over last minute due to a pain in my neck and shoulder that won’t let up. A few weeks ago I woke up with s pain in my neck that I thought was just from sleeping on it wrong. Well it won’t let up and the doctor can’t really find anything except for what he’s calling muscle spasms that are pinching nerves. Anyway I can no longer pull my 70 pounds so had to lower weight which in turn means recalibrating sights and putting a new tape on the hha. I almost have it tuned up again but what a pain why couldn’t this have waited 2 months? I can’t believe 6 pounds of draw weight makes such a big difference in pin placement. I'm so upset right now and the feeling is just getting worse it stinks so bad I think she went down and died in my swamp land but it's to crazy to get into there I really hope not
I know the feeling. When I was 13 I shot a little buck in a alfalfa field with a .300 win mag and hit abit farther back than I wanted, so I called my mentor and he came out to help me and my dad to look for it and we couldn’t find it, we thought it had gone and died over in the thick briars and stuff where the wolves and coyotes would get to it before we could, so we waited for my mentors son to help us and we fanned out over where we thought the buck had tipped over and he was right where we last saw him! It’s just that alfalfa was so tall and lush you can’t track anything in it. Congrats and hopefully you can find your doe! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
That sucks. It's not a whole lot of fun trying to get dialed back in. They are really nice when they are dialed in though.
