Hey guys, I’m Lloyd from VA. Got a trip to Ohio planned in October. What county in Ohio you in Dan. I’ll be hunting in Knox Co. near Bladensburg. I have a few on my hit list will share pics later.

WillO I can't believe your season is open already, thats crazy! We have a good mix of states so far.

This was taken through my spotting scope via phone, so excuse the bad pic. I saw this guy a few times before I was able to get a picture. My cameras are up now, hoping to get a better picture.

 

Had 3 encounters with this guy last year, none ending with a shot. I hope he survived last year, he should be a stud this season.

 

This guy loved to show up by my stand when I was in a different stand last year. Never actually seen him, hoping he is still around.

Yeah it opened July 28th. Seems to come around early as I hog hunt year round I never have an off season I guess.

I'm going to try and sit all day this Saturday or Sunday depending on weather. There's been a lot of rain recently and a lot of the places are waterlogged but ill try. I have plenty of scrapes that are in dry areas so I may forego the tree stands and set up some blinds.

 

All day sit in August, thats hardcore!

 

It’ll be like a sauna but I’ll give it a shot lol

However the weather isn’t looking promising. It’s forecasted thunderstorms all weekend so it may be a no go.

 

Some nice bucks, hopefully they will show up this year.
