    Nice work captain !

Another night of catch and release here in Kentucky 4 bucks in the 120-130 range all inside of 20 yards.

That brings me to 23 bucks I have passed so far this season.

I only have the one wide 9 that would push 140. Now that the velvet is off I can be more picky I am covered up with does and can only hope a jaw dropper wanders in when the rut gets going !

Congratulations Captain. Good to see you put us on the board already. Everything around my place is ready to go. Another 8 days and I will be in a tree. Countdown is on...

Hey guys. We had five kids hunting this weekend for Michigan’s youth hunt. No one killed anything but we had an awesome deer camp. Probably one of my favorite camps ever. Hard to beat good food, cards and football on the radio. Great way to start off the year!

Pretty tough weekend here. Shot some doves and caught some fish the deer are a little weird right now with the moon growing and rising at odd times. If it cools off i'm going to whack a doe next weekend.

Hope to get out Sunday morning, got pictures of 7 does in my winter oats/peas patch on 4 different mornings in the last couple weeks so i hope to catch them out there and whack my 1st doe! Yes, I've shot 6 deer, 2 with the bow, lets just say that i have rather odd history of button bucks.

I've never shot a doe either. One button buck I would have swore was a doe. Going out in the morning hopefully I'll get my first doe.

going up tommarow morning for my second weekend of the year. First weekend I didnt see much but it could be because I was working most of it up north and only got in the woods two evenings. This weekend I plan on harvesting a doe and start scouting for some buck sign.

Congrats Pat! I connect on a nice doe this morning, quartering away double lung shot, she ran maybe 50 yards. I'll put her on the board here in a bit.

35 feet! crazy stuff man!! hope you couple guys had a good opener today. I think today was the latest opener for everyone on the team.. I am looking forward to this weekend, There is going to be a decent cold front up here with lows below freezing. That should get the deer moving, and bring down a fresh push of geese! Im to jacked up!! The first batch of jerky is going into the smoker tomorrow.
