Heck I'll get it started, Sooner signing in. HNI handle was Sooner State Hunter but I don't go over there much anymore. Name is Shane and I live in Oklahoma. I'll be hunting two leases. One is in NW OK, exactly 2 miles from the KS line, great 1/4 section with lots of potential. Other lease is in NE OK, hunted it last year and it holds some dandy bucks. Looking forward to the upcoming season and hope to get to know you boys better.

Hey guys. DUHunter27 checking in. I live in Central Kansas and I'll be hunting some land about 30 minutes away, so I should get out plenty. This is my second year deer hunting, and even though I haven't killed yet, I like my chances for this season. Seeing good signs of deer and getting some pictures from the Trophy Cam.

Boys I tell you what, I like our chances. We got some guys on this team that routinely score on some big heads. If the rest of us can put a number up, we'll be sitting pretty when the smoke clears. We'll have alot of fun either way. Anxious to follow along with everyone's season.

Personally, I'm more optimistic than ever before about my chances to finally arrow a real show stopper. I know the land I'm hunting is good and I've hunted them both before so I got an idea of travel patterns, bedding areas, etc. Years past I hunted mediocre land at best and knew it would take sheer luck to put down a trophy but this year is different. I'm confident the opportunity will present itself.

Nooooo way I'm captain!! You, Peak and Greg are the vets around here -- any of you three get my vote. Besides I was just anxious to get things kicked off is reason I started the thread.

BTW how big was Greg's bull??

Jake, are you sure those arent' the same buck?? j/k
