Ha, I went to the taxidermist to get him scored......Taxidermist on vacation! I swear guys, I'll get him score soon.
We just surpassed last year's winning score! Need to keep the pressure on everyone else! I haven't had any shots at any bucks that I would be willing to take, but the activity keeps increasing and I am confident it'll happen. Way to go Buckaneers!
Ha, you need to share some of that doe meat with the rest of the team! Congrats on another one, I can't seem to get a doe into range now that I'm wanting to shoot one. Maybe this weekend I'll get my chance.
Great job guys! Sorry for my inactivity in the thread, been busy with school and just life in general. I've been hunting some, but no shot opportunities. That's gonna change here soon though when I start getting out more.
I'm with ya on that Rory....between work and really crappy weather (RAIN) it's been tough to even try getting out. Got great weather tomorrow though so I'll be getting out!
Not much to say for this weekend. Bow season is closed for the Juvenile hunt this weekend and opens up again next week. Next week is the opener of Muzzleloader, but I may still just end up with the bow in hand.
Well I stuck another doe Friday evening...relatively small deer had some major ground shrinkage lol Shot her at 20 yards quartering away and she ran about 80 yards into the field and dropped stone cold. After examining the insides I seen that my Muzzy sliced her liver completely in half, sliced the top of the heart and punctured both lungs! Cant ask for a better shot than that!!!:D It was an awesome hunt though, and definitely one of my most memorable. Once I find the cable to my camera I can upload some pictures!!

Haha I am done with does. Bucks only from here on out. I did actually screw up really bad...I guess "buck fever" is a factual thing. I got my first ever shot opportunity at a nice buck and I MISSED! WITH A RIFLE!!! I can hit quarters with that thing and I shot over a 130 inch buck at 50 yards....I kicked myself all day over that one. Oh well....There is always another day, and hopefully another buck!
Still no deer here for me....I see our lead has been snatched....time for me to kill Mr. Big and bring us back up! lol
