Actually, MO killed a doe, ILL killed a doe, I killed a doe, and if I'm missing anyone I'm sorry, but I'm talking about the fact that Jenna's deer is the only one that Justin has actually entered or at least when I looked earlier today. I read the other post too ILL, I was figuring the 150" range from the pic, I don't know where somebody came up with 140's...lol Congrats again to Top and ILL for taking two fantastic bucks, and to Jenna.....keep your chin up girl it will happen for ya!
My bad...I guess the only scores missing for our team yet are Top's and ILL's bucks to be scored and turned in, AND MO never posted his doe in the scorecard thread! C'mon MO...get the pics up there, and we'll scare them all into thinking we're running away with it! LOL
I shot a doe last night, have to go out at sunrise to recover. Had 3 does pacing back and forth around her 'til after dark. Still has the arrow in her so hopefully will be an easy recovery in the CRP field.
Score - KY, MO, ILL, Rattle and my does = 250 points. When Top and IL post their bucks, I think we'll have another 260 or so points. We're off to a good start. Arghhh! We Buckaneers will not be denied! Let's show them scallywags what they're dealing with!
TP, once you have your buck scored and posted, we'll be in the lead! A group of alternates taking the lead will light a fire to scorch some sphincters!!! That doe is all going into jerky ('cept the tenderloins which were taken care of today).
Nice job on the doe Mark! I like the idea of a bunch of alternates lighting the rest of these guys up! I have vacation the week of Halloween, so I'll be after the boys then. This weekend is the youth hunt here in WI and next weekend we have that dang early doe hunt with riflles...ARGHHHH! All it ever does is screw things up for the bowhunters!
Not knowing when I'll leaving for the desert, I am getting in every chance I can to hunt. I have a total of 20 stands to pick from on the properties, and try to move around enough to not pressure any one area. Let's keep the points rolling in!!!! We can take this contest. Haha Ive been in the woods! I really messed up yesterday again! I had 3 bucks and a doe come around right after daylight and the bucks were walking in a line and they were a 4 point, 5 point, and 6 point which I thought was pretty humorous haha Anyways...the doe was at 14 yards and I drew on her.....thwack!!! Bunch of dirt haha missed high. She trotted over to 23 yards and I nocked another arrow, stopped her, and THWACK! Another mound of dirt! Missed high again! I dont know if my nerves are getting the best of me or I am just over anticipating the shot. Those are like the easiest shots in the world and I blew both chances. Hopefully things turn around...I CANT HANDLE IT! haha
Thanks for putting my doe pics up on the scorecard!! I completely forgot about doing that. I noticed they aren't on the scorecard yet though? I went twice this weekend and saw 16 does. I coulda killed bout half of them, but didn't wanna waste my buck tag on them. I might have to get another doe tag.
Looky at who's in the lead now! TP get your buck scored and we can open that lead to a more comfortable level. I've been out every day and the bucks are coming out earlier and staying out later in the AM. Soon, I'll have them passing by during shooting hours. Let's kick some booty!

Well I am keeping up the doe killing spree. Got another one with my muzzleloader this morning. Figures she came close enough for a bow shot, but oh well, she is just as dead lol
