Heck, I don't care who is Captain, but this is my first year doing this contest, I'm not sure I would even know what is going on. If someone else is a veteran here and wants to do it then that is cool, but if not I do not mind, I just need some guidance on what I would be doing.
When are all your seasons? Iowa is Oct 1 - Beginning of December and then Mid December to Jan 10 I say team 20 should be called the Buckaneers and then let Top Pin round us up and get us going. Has everyone checked in?
Looks like we all are checked in! I like the name and I say we go with it. Tennessee season opens next weekend here and I am pumped and already having a hard time going to sleep!
Missouri is already open. Runs from September 15th-January 15th. Closed for 10 days in middle of November for gun season.
Went out again this morning and seen a nice 130 class 8 point. He decided to walk the other way though At least I know he is in the area, maybe I ca connect with him next weekend.:D Now on to processing that doe!
One week to the season opener. I got the fever pretty bad right now. When not working (and sometimes while at work) my mind is stuck in bow-mode. Lets get out there and put some more points on the board to support Jenna! Good luck to all and remember to stay safe. Good luck back at ya Vet! I will be headed out Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and maybe Monday evening. As of now the wind will be perfect to hunt my fav. stand Saturday evening. I have killed a lot of deer out of that spot.
