    Not looking good for my property. Went to check the camera for first time in about 2 months and the property owner bought his kids new atvs, and they turned the main deer travel path into a new atv track.

    Typically i havent been sitting opening day. Prefer to wait to the leaves are starting to fall however the bucks always seem to be in the plot early, then fade out until rut. Would like to try to bag one of those unsuspecting beasties early but i guess we will see....

    That's where I'm at too. I haven't hunted September in years but if my bucks keep holding this pattern I will hunt the first good wind.

    I start the 15th of Setptember. I'll be in a tree. Have plenty of stands to hunt for a variety of winds so I can be in a tree no matter what.
