I had a successful weekend sadly no arrows were released. Had 2 good bucks at 60 and 70 yards on public land this weekend. Sadly both came in down wind and busted me. Both were following a doe. The wider 8 I have no pictures of him. The taller one I havent had on camera since the 2nd. Just a matter of time before one makes a mistake!

Saturday morning I saw a doe still with her fawn right away at first light. About 20 minutes later I had two fawns hang around my stand for about 45 mintues; no mom in sight.

Passed that small 8. Followed my evercalm path across the corn field. Hung around my stand for about 20 minutes. He had his head on the ground and grunting the entire time.

My #1 has been MIA since July and he showed back up on camera 8pm a few nights ago. Have another shooter on that same camera at 6pm Friday night. I haven't hunted that stand yet and plan is to on Wednesday.

Seems like the big boys are starting to move everywhere. They still aren't chasing here in southern Indiana yet. They usually start rutting around mid to late Nov. So should start seeing some chase in next week or 2. We're suppose to be warming back up some, mostly 50s and 60s for highs. Hopefully cold weather will come back soon and stick. Last year was in the top 5 of the warmest winters on record here

My next few days in MN. About average for us this time of year.

    Today - 37
    Tuesday - 40
    Wednesday - 48
    Thursday - 43
    Friday - 38
Saturday (gun opener :dan:) - 45
    Sunday - 53

I need south winds for my two stand locations with the most daytime activity and Wednesday is the only day in that forecast. Hopefully sit in one in the morning and the other for the evening. Chance of rain from 10-2 that day so really, conditions are about perfect for some movement.

How many of you guys really follow pressure movements as far as making decisions on when to go?

I love evercalm! That stuff is awesome! Good luck with your #1! I always enjoy seeing something. Makes the sit go faster & keeps me awake!

I dont follow the pressure as much as i do the weather which i guess is kind of the same thing more or less. Deer are showing interest in the does but nothing is really chasing yet

This time of the year I hunt when I can but usually try to target major pressure changes (typically rising) but Wednesday is quite the valley in pressure. Supposedly any drastic pressure changes gets them moving right?[IMG]

I have been only really hunting 3 years including this one. I look at pressure when I look at weather but I haven't been at it long enough or really paid that much attention to know how true it is. Since stay so busy at times I try to go as much as possible.

That's what I understand and experience. Did you do something special to get the pressure line to show up? I use the WU app, but don't see a pressure line in the daily graphs. The graphs are why I like WU over other apps...

Never have found it on the app, this was just a picture from web version. Sure wish the app had it.

Good deal. Yeah it's never done. There's always something that needs done, welded, or fixed. Lucky for me I just help a family friend out. So not as much for me. Mostly Mark and his sons do the work. I just help when they need it, but both boys are in college now so been helping more the past 2 years
